    I remember Captain Victory (“and his Galactic Rangers”) well. I guess even Jack Kirby had his off-days.

    I thought his name has always been Captain Victorious. What gives?

    I believe these are reruns, so maybe this arc explains why he became (or will become) Captain Victorious. I predict lawyers will be involved.

    @Mashallaharabians

    As partyalldatyme said, these are reruns from the beginning of the series. This was a story arc that had my interest for quite some time: imagine him having to change not only his identity and costume, but also his business cards. Also, by going back to the beginnings, it’s a very good time to check out character development and changes in drawing, Jenn Erica (Generica) – the ‘every woman’.

    Loved Jack “King” Kirby read his stuff from the 1960’s on with reprints of his even earlier work. Followed him to DC where he created the News Boy Legend, Darsied and the rest. Was sorry when it was incorporated into the DC universe. “OMAC” and “Komandi” too along with “Devil Dinosaur” I think.

    I remember a Captain Axis in an Incredible Hulk when Dr. Doom shrunk him down very far.
