It’s not always good to have a sign from God.

Yes, because before that, there were no optical and meteorological phenomenon that were caused by both reflection and refraction of light in water droplets in the Earth’s atmosphere, resulting in a spectrum of light appearing in the sky that took the form of a multicoloured arc. Of course. Right.

Who’d’ve guessed that a biblically themed comic would show a woman’s crack?

Because the fig leaves didn’t show up until AFTER they ate the fruit.

Sorry, Miss Penny – I didn’t realize that no one is allowed to disagree with your beliefs. My apologies. Just let me know the next time you plan to read a comic where I may have left words you don’t care for and I’ll delete them.

Actually, I just questioned JaneCI as to rainbows. I did not tell her to dry up, shut up, or otherwise dispute her right to make a comment, as you did so rudely with me. OK – you believe in a flood that covered the entire earth, you believe there were never any rainbows or rainstorms before the “flood”, you believe that the earth is only 6000 years old, you believe man and dinosaurs lived together. OK.
However, I still have the right to question, and if religious beliefs are brought up that contravene accepted scientific thinking, I will comment.
You, of course, certainly have the right to ask, whichever particular god you believe in, to send me to hell to burn forever and ever in eternity for being an unbelieving infidel. You do NOT have the right to be rude or obnoxious, even if you think you do.

A nonbeliever would bother reading a strip like this because it’s an intelligent, funny strip. One doesn’t have to believe in God to appreciate the art and literature related to Him.

Actually, nowhere does it say there had never been a rainbow. What it does say is henceforward it would be a sign of God’s displeasure, reminding Him of His covenant with us. So, whenever you see a rainbow, know that God is not happy with humanity. Maybe with you?

WHAT??? The rainbow was a sign of God’s covenant - that he would not destroy the world by flood again. Genesis 9:12-16 Nowhere does it state that the rainbow represents “God’s displeasure.”
