Incidental Comics are familiar scenes from life - unfortunately, the camera is shaky and loud music drowns out the dialogue. Grant Snider's observations on art and creativity, complaints about growing up, and moments of self-examination are lightened by the occasional appearance of mythical creatures and imaginary places. It's a fascinating world to explore a couple times a week.

Introverts. Many of us can present as outgoing when we have to, for example a work environment, but when we get home and on days off we prefer to be alone. We need rest and relief from all the excess stimulation of dealing with a bunch of other people. Although Michael Jackson in the line up seems a bit of a stretch.

No, it is the owl: watches everything quietly (except for an occasional unobtrusive question) and gets things done when nobody’s looking.

We live in an extroverted culture that does not value the introvert. If you are not extroverted there must be something wrong with you- here, take a pill, get over it, don’t be a wimp, don’t be so sensitive, etc…..
In my opinion, most people wouldn’t last a day in an introverts shoes. It is a challenge to remain true to yourself while operating in a society that values the extrovert and mandates you suck it up or fall by the wayside.
The introvert must live in two worlds as the extrovert is too busy yapping away to consider anothers point of view.

Have you seen people fake chatting or texting on the phone to avoid all eye contact?

There is a difference between and introvert and an agoraphobic. The latter remains alone much of the time out of fear of leaving a known environment. The former simply does not require the validation of others to be satisfied with life.
