Hubris, on the phone. “Yes, I need another 20 port-a-potties, and I need them in 20 minutes. I don’t care if you double the price, just get them here now!!!”

I don’t care what kind of fest you’ve got going, serving anything referred to as an “ingot” as your only food is a BAD idea. Whatever follows comes under the heading “You deserve what you get.” Can’t wait!

I swear to Cow, I had no idea the story arc was gonna flesh out the way it did. I’d work out three cartoons for one section, then they’d turn into 6 before I knew what happened.

Stop writing rabbit jokes, then. Problem fixes itself.

Funny how the fest (and the trouble) just recently started on GoComics run, while it just recently ended on the Hubris site, as was noted recently. Though I should probably amend that slightly and say that even though the fest is over, it’s likely that, this being the Hubrisphere, there’ll be no end to trouble, which is about the only prediction that I feel safe in making.

Food ingots are what’s in the Emergency bin at work. You know the one-in case of earthquake, enough supplies for 3 days. Comes with the warning of not for those with food sensitivies.
