“Mad Skillz” are any of a number of extraordinary things one can do, usually associated with aggressive outdoor activity. The term may be antiquated, as it is more than a dozen years old since its inception.

Is that the guy from the “Out There” webcomic?

I guess not, since I had to google it to see it, and then couldn’t find a character that fitted the description… but great minds think alike. There are always bald coolsters roaming around in the webcomics. Maybe there’s room for a crossover?

So one wouldn’t hear about anybody bragging about their “mad” structural analysis skills?

Far as I know, the teens I work with still say “mad skillz” – among other colorful language. They also use it to describe their “mad shooting skillz” while playing Black ops and other games….

My computer skillz have been described as “mad”.
I’ve been described as “mad” as well… but I THINK they meant “insane in the membrane”.

caught the Mad. Though at work, I might be considered the other mad, with occasional rare flare up of mad. Deep breathing helps for both. And for the first.
