Life's a series of ups and downs, which is good news if you're on a mountain bike.
Hubris! is the story of people who enjoy their weekends more than their jobs. Hard to believe, right? Wandering in and out of The Outdoor Galore Store, the woods, the skatepark, the river and trouble, they'll risk their lives and limbs to entertain you by entertaining themselves.
Grab your helmet and whatever toys that go with it. Spend your free time with Hubris.
Check out Greg Cravens' other strip, The Buckets.

They’re tricky to install. Gotta get those long bolts that go all the way to the framing.
Spread the word around that Hubris is here! We’re nearly 400 subscribers so far. The Buckets has 23,000. Got some catching up to do.

Thanks, guys and girls! I’m very pleased with the results so far. The links on the right hand side of the page here aren’t up yet, but you can find Hubris’s website by clicking the little question mark icon, and hunt us up on Facebook and/or twitter. We just slather the Hubris all over the place.

Didn’t the newspapers have trouble fitting that last panel into the regular layout of their comics page?

Newspapers are no longer the primary consideration for LOTS of cartoons. Hubris is designed to 1) reflect the old format of newspaper cartoons and 2) take advantage of the new format of webcartoons. I could, and have, expand on for a couple of hours, but you don’t want to have to hear a bunch of technical, social, and marketing/business theory about cartoons. Thats NOT why you read comics, is it?

yes, we ‘slather’ Hubris (and Buckets) everywhere…
(after slathering, rinse and repeat….)

…uh yeah I think we’re all beginning to think the “nuts” thing.

The paperboy doesn’t think you’re a little nuts. He thinks you’re WIERD!
Big difference…
Although, chances are your attorney thinks you’re a little nuts, and that would clearly help in your defence.

Captain Underpants! Never read that comic, but I love how the cop is saying it.

I meant to say this earlier- my brother, who is cooler than me by a long slide, has a climbing wall IN his house- in this gorgeous stairwell. Too cool.
