If you wanted to leave on time, you should have brought down more than just that!…

The bucket of make-up and the trowel are behind the chair on the floor.

They’re still going to be late…very late. I’m married so I know how it works.

    I’ve nicknamed my wife “Pokey”.
And she still makes me feel like “Gumby”.

Which proves you can put lipstick on a pig, but you will be late.

Her hair is done and she is dressed—all she needs is the lipstick and away she goes. Most women are fantastic at time management. Maybe if men wore makeup we’d all be late.

" Time and tide waits for no man "….true statement…. but it say nothing about how man will have to wait ( and wait, and wait ) for woman.

Maybe she has a big mouth. In that case, he should bring a bucket of red paint and a 3" paintbrush. It works with my wife all the time.

    You are funny!
I have to agree with Jo Clear. But from her profile, I think that is kinda iffy.

We just show up late — pretty much every time.
    .
i take the Marines’ attitude, " No excuses, SIR." I was never in any branch of service, but excuses are just boring explanations of why you’ve failed and enough time has alteady been wasted. .
    .
I knew my wife ere I married her and what to expect.

She may be wearing something… but doesn’t mean that that’s gonna be what she needs to wear to wherever they’re going… or it could be the old: “No… still not quite the right look”…
