No, it was because we based troops in Saudi Arabia, ticking off a nut case, and “W” and staff totally blew the intelligence reports. Now, with Libya making headlines with the Republicans, Darryl Issa and the rest of his morons on “intelligence”, hold a public hearing , and provide information that again puts ALL our embassy people around the world at risk. It’s not Issa’s first time screwing up either, all for “party politics” and an effort to discredit folks who’ve done a lot better job. Just ask bin Laden.
You know it was Conda Lisa Rice who passed on the memo that said Bin Laden set to attack. It was Cheney who sat in the bunker and wouldn’t let our fighter planes take off. It’s Mitt who has taken on Bush’s advisors.
It is bad taste and so is trouts bad comments trying to go back to the world trade center when the argument is for here and now with the embassy and Christopher Stevens.
I do not often agree with Mr. Payne’s position, but I usually understand and respect his point of view. In this case, I do not understand, agree, or respect this artistic comment. It is in very poor taste and, as my favorite Tyrant says, cheapens the memory of those who perished on 9/11/01 as well as 9/11/12. You’re better than this Mr. Payne. Shame on you. C.
So, now payne is blaming President Obama for the attack 9/11? - Payne, you do know that some of us remember what really happened, don’t you? And how the shrubster and cheney refused to go after obl and how President Obama did and was successful?
Totally agree, those who respond to these with disdain as above and below bring it to an even lower place. It doesn’t matter what the mentality of the attackers was, it was a great loss and we must keep up the respect for those who lost their life along with their friends and families.

It’s in bad taste for the Republicans who voted to reduce the embassy security budget to now blame Obama for not increasing security.
