   The best new years for me was when they blew up an old building at midnight! Wounder what Unicorns do at Midnight? or maybe there new year is an other date?
   Maybe they all gather in a field and sing and glow and bop there heads while there horns shoot fire works? Then the dance. Or am I thinking of dragons?

   Good for you, girl. You can only watch the New Years Ball drop so many times before it gets old. And Dick Clark’s Rockin’ New Years Eve show was an abomination.

   I remember quite well the change into 2000 and 2001. I actually taped all 24 hours of CNN, and sealed the VHS tapes. Perhapse it’s time to transfer those to DVDs.

    New Years Eve Pajama party…now theres an idea for me to run with….TY T Lexi…gonna call a couple of (like me) widowed girlfriends and a couple of never marrieds about my age and suggest it…lol…flannel nightgowns on most of us, but then, who knows…this may be fun! Something to do besides just drinking and watching t.v…popcorn out of the fireplace, asti spumante, snacks, t.v., old movies, old music…and a lot of laughter….I AM gonna make this happen….TY again for the idea!

    When I was in the dorms in college, one of my suite mates had a Heathkit digital clock. Someone noticed that the only time all the digits on the clock were the same was at 11:11:11. That became an excuse to pop open a brew and celebrate (at 11:11:11 PM).

    I’m going to shoot out the neighbors farmlight while everyone else is shooting in the air. I say this every year. We are so rural that the sheriff drives by in an suv and shines a light in everyones back yard at about ten o clock then runs for cover.
