The Royal Navy had to temporarily remove a parrot from a ship when the Queen was coming to visit, it swore too much.

I’ve seen birds peck at my (and at other) cats heads in a fly by.
Serves them right when cats kill the bird, or birds’ mate, or birds’s baby.
I had a kitten who had captured a blue jay just about as big as her (Lily was a very small cat, even when full grown). She was carrying this big ol’ jay from the side yard around to the sunroom door, when I surprised her by suddenly opening the door. She was so startled, she lost her grip on the jay.
Naturally, the jay took off and started cussing her like crazy from the safety of the oak tree nearby.

Ooooh! Lily gave me the Dirtiest look!

Not as far fetched as you might believe. When I was in basic-training at Lakland AFB, Texas, the pigeon cooing there went “leh-righ-leh” (left, right, left). They had been hearing it from the TIs for so many decades that they got into the act.
