    Also eating small meals every few hours keeps the metabolism going. Going too many hours without eating causes the body to go into “starvation mode”, not burning as many calories, leading to lack of energy and poor mental performance. Breakfast is the last meal one should skip, as the day’s activity will burn more calories, while calories eaten at night don’t get burned during sleep. Breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, dinner like a pauper.
