Except there are massive oil reserves that dwarf the middle east in areas that the EPA and tree-huggers deem inaccessible. You also don’t know the “why” behind the reduction in drilling. Is it because there’s less to take, or is it because regulations are making it more difficult and/or expensive? Or is it that they are responding to to market conditions? The EPA allows only so much refinement over the course of the year, so is it that they don’t need to pump as much because other sources of crude are filling that capacity? Don’t make blanket statements without telling the complete story. That’s a cheap tactic used by the liberal media to try to exhibit their narrative to whip people into a froth.
