    First, you do realize the cartoon is aiming at both parties, right?

    Second, seriously man. Your schtick is just boring at this point. Not that I ever saw it when it was actually funny or insightful but as of late it’s really been lame. Maybe if you actually did try to consider what the Right has to say and offer some insightful commentary about that, you would be useful. Instead you just offer the same old platitudes and sterotypes. You are no different than Ima. You just have a better avatar.

    Okay. I deleted my earlier response because I finally got it. Not that it’s worth getting but I got it. Sorry to have been slow on the uptick.

    I’m just not buying in. I have no problems with humor to make a point. But frankly it’s not funny. All this does is feed the trolls. Sorry, but I’m still calling it a tired old joke that is well past retiring.

    It’s not the (lack of) humor I have a problem with so much as it’s a useless effort that just furthers the problem they’re railing against. NeoCon and wme have proven that trolls on the internet are ignorant and offensive by being ignorant and offensive themselves. Wow. If only the Pulitzer Committee knew.

    I like the A Dell joke. Thanks.

    It would be nice if a “bipartisan” budget actually cut the cost of “defense” that goes to contractors, instead of troops and veterans. Always more money for toys for generals, who are in that revolving door with industry. Plus, interesting that while the Generals were getting a 34% pay increase from 2001-2013, a captain got 11% increase a private 15% and sergeant 16%. Even within that salary pay, we might look at who’s really raking it in, like how many DOLLARs does that 34% for a General equate to vs the 16% for a sergeant, who may actually be put at risk in the field?

    But, interesting that McCoy always sees “government” as the problem, especially as cost, but never finds outrageous profits for corporations (including contractors and benefitting folks like huge agricultural corporations raking in subsidies) as the “problem”.

    @warjoski

    NeoconMan is the only conservative poster who makes sense.

    ^As I’m always being called a “socialist” by you and others on the right, and am a permanent and totally disabled combat veteran (yes, it does take time for some “injuries” to catch up with you, after you were doing okay into your 30’s), and my son, also a “liberal” though registered Independent, is ALSO a disabled combat veteran, medically retired after 13 years of service in the Navy, would you care to modify your “opinion”? BTW, how many “terrorists” have YOU personally eliminated?? (Our count is substantial in Viet Nam (me) and Bosnia, Iraq, and Afghanistan (son).)

    What, you mean he’s not really a conservative? He’s just pretending? No, that can’t be!!! Next you’ll tell me there’s no Santa Claus.

    It amazes me how little some people posting here know about life.

    So Glenn McCoy believes paying for the protection and infrastructure that enables him to have an American standard of living, is the same as getting beat up? Move to Somalia.
