Mr. McCoy hints that President Obama is responsible, but doesn’t come out and say it. I wonder if that is because he has no evidence and is trying to convince people to believe what he wants to believe rather than rely on facts. For those of you who will inevitably shriek about how, “Of course he’s responsible!!!”, please provide some evidence for proof or debunking rather than just a helping of emotionalism.

But is the clown who drew the toon, and his minions, who hasn’t a clue, or at least one placing the actual blame where it belongs. Just say" Reaganomics".

Wages need to match up with local economies, both cost of living for employees, and the actual business potential for the employers! In small “economies” like remote small towns in low cost/wage areas, the minimum must match that lower NEED! In areas like the majority of SMSA’s (Standard Metropolitan Statistical Areas), wages DO need to be higher to match that cost of living, AND, the increased volume of business DOES give the employer the chance to more than offset his “costs”, and make a good profit.

It is true that if everybody is employed it naturally forces wages up. However, at the same time yes a company can be blamed for not paying above the minimum wage so long as it is possible to continue to make a profit.

Shafting employees because the employees must take it is not a justification

So if Obama lays down a decree that business must pay a living wage and have benefits and be full time you guys will want him impeached for creating a bad business climate.

Ray Kroc was notorious for the money he spent lobbying congress not to raise the minimum wage.

This particular TOON is a loser. Good comments though.
    Here is my contribution:
The Federal Reserve says they Exclude the increased costs of fuel and food when they fudge the Inflation numbers.
Cost of Living going up (inflation) is the issue, not Minimum Wage. Three of the things that drive up the Cost of Living is Crime and Dishonesty and expenses for additional Security. Morality/Ethics of the individual does have an economic impact on everyone. Permissive Parents: please take notes.

Your rant against labor and President Obama echo so many right-wing BS talking points, it’s obvious where you get your “facts”. Just for fun, here’s a link to a years’ worth of Fox News slamming labor:
