In the lead-up to the 2010 midterm elections, Republicans, led by John Boehner (R-OH) promised their highest priority was “jobs, jobs, jobs,” …

^ You’re confused (purely accidental, I’m sure). It was Eric Cantor who promised over and over that Republicans would have a laser like focus on Jobs, Jobs, Jobs.
    -
It turned out that the Republican plan for Jobs, Jobs, Jobs! was to repeal Obamacare 40 times and to try to make abortion illegal several times.
    -
Another lie from a Fox “news” viewer.

BTW, what IS the Republican jobs plan? eliminating minimum wage? “Guest” workers?
    -
Wait, I remember now: It’s to repeal Obamacare. That will surely return us to full employment.

McCoy has a strange delusion that the press goes easy on Obama. But then, he has many delusions.

It’s all going exactly according to plan, and Glenn McCoy is playing his little role exactly like he’s supposed to. The Republicans kill any effort by Obama and the Democrats to undo all the damage done to the job market during the Bush years, and then try to shift the blame to Obama.

That way they can reclaim the presidency with candidates like Ted Cruz…even though he was born in a foreign country…wait, I thought that means he isn’t a natural-born American, and we know that’s something the Republicans value highly?

By not doing its job, I presume you mean promoting your point of view.

Heh, for today’s lie, Onguard is repeating the old “The media is liberal” myth. Here are the stories that the media would be covering if Onguard were telling the truth:

Unemployment dropped to it’s lowest level in four years in July. Yet another example of the one trick pony
wasting his talent on behalf of his Republican paymasters.

“(Tesla) is the WORLD Leader in electric automobiles.”

Plus the Tesla S is as beautiful as any current Aston Martin. However, I’d call Honda the world leader because of the hydrogen-powered Clarity. Tesla does the best job with batteries, but I consider it a dead-end branch on the automotive evolutionary tree.

    .
My healthcare was terminated a couple of years ago when Obamacare began to rear it’s head (could be attributed to the CEO here being soulless and greedy) and my wife informed me a couple of days ago that when the mandate kicks in (2015) she will lose her healthcare. Her employer will try to smooth the transition and provide a subsidy (he’s a decent guy) but she will pay more.

    Thanks!

Why do Republicans love the idea that health insurance corporations can refuse coverage for pre-existing conditions? Echoraven? Deerflatener? Onguard? Tigger? Coraryan? MStevenson58? Can ANY of you explain how it helps the average citizen to deny coverage for pre-existing conditions? Obamacare does away with this, yet the Republicans want to keep this concept intact. Why?

Ever notice that if you Google “Obama myths” almost all the results involve debunking Republican lies? How come the Democrats aren’t making up good stuff about Obama that need debunking? They don’t need to?
