    Omigosh! I’m so scared! Now the government will know that I made a haircut appointment for Thursday, and that …gasp!…I’m planning a trip to the recycling center this afternoon, and will pick up my neighbor’s styrofoam on the way! Where can I hide?

    So, then, you’re saying that because YOU’RE not doing anything wrong, you give Obama a pass for infringing on your privacy? You traded your privacy for security?
    “Those who would give up freedom for security will not have nor deserve either” – Benjamin Frankiln
    How bout this one?
    When the Nazis came for the communists,
    I remained silent;
    I was not a communist.

    When they locked up the social democrats,I remained silent;I was not a social democrat.When they came for the trade unionists,I did not speak out;I was not a trade unionist.When they came for the Jews,I remained silent;I wasn’t a Jew.When they came for me,there was no one left to speak out.Martin Niemöller

    Just you wait Magic….don’t mistake that I’m calling Obama a Nazi. However the premise is that he’s eroding American’s rights one demographic at a time. You’re just a little further up the road.

    Once again, Glenn contradicts himself. It is so hard for Glenn when the issue isn’t a dead horse like abortion. so Glenn has to have a clear opinion which he does not.
    .
    This one is very twisted… Does “the press” not know, have they not reported that the NSA is everywhere?
    .
    OTOH what did “The Press” do exactly? They sat there and some kid came through the door with a story for them to run.
    .
    So which way is it Glenn?
    .
    Then there is the mismatch of the “Law and Order” right wingers who are fine with Big Brother, so long as he’s not a Democrat (or, as Bill Maher put it “They were ok with Big Brother, until we elected a big Brother.”
    .
    Which way are you pointing Glenn? Is the NSA program a good thing? Or is it a good thing that Snowdon exposed the PRISM program?
    .
    We’ll wait until your Right Wing Bigger Brothers tell you what to “New Think.”
    .
    Pathetic, Glenn.

    And proof that you fail to comprehend the substance of what’s going on. And did I not say I wasn’t comparing Obama as a nazi? You only see what you want to see.

    @prodoc1

    You don’t know the difference between “wisdom” and “Comedy”?
    .
    You don’t know the difference between parroting what Rush said and citing someone who agrees with your own thoughts?
    .
    You can’t dispute the reasoning or the conclusions of the post so you resort to an ad hominem argument?
    .
    Maybe you and exoticdoc2 ought to meet each other.

    Glen must be a goose, doesn’t recall the Bush Admin starting the Patriot Act that instigated the surveillance???

    And after their talking points are exhausted, they revert to primative behaviors like ad hominem and red herrings (in which case they repeat and rinse).

    That was the point I was making about Glenn.
    .
    That prodoc1 came along and reinforced the point was just serendipity.

    It didn’t start under Bush. It started under Carter with the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act becoming law in 1978.
