    Even if 1st base is a section of 2×12, I’m not voting for the bond issue.

    Tilden should ask for a replay review. Unless the ball was thrown at about 10 mph, it’s clear Amy should have been called out.

    Is it me, or has Lucky put on about 30 pounds of muscle since his first appearance?

    Apparently, Tilden can’t afford baseballs either, so they are using a cue ball.

    She should stand closer to the plate, judging from the huge gash her swing has torn in the backstop.

    P3 reminds me of the old vaudeville joke where the two guys bump into each other and one is carrying a bag so the other one says, “What do you have in the bag?” The guy with the bag says “I got a bottle of gin for my wife,” and the first guy says, “Sounds like a nice trade.”

    We can’t see how fast the ball was going nor how fast Amy was running, so we have to take R and W’s word for it.

    Anyway, Amy’s selling Lucky short in P3. Only 3 runs? The guy’s gotta be worth at least a grand slam!

    She should have been awarded first base after that softball hit her in the kneecap.

    Milford vs Tilden = Milford AT Tilden = Milford IS NOT the Home team.

    Lucky is the beneficiary of a steady diet of root beer floats.

    In all reality, whats with Amys pants in P3 ? Is she growing another foot ?

    @chiphilton

    That was my first thought too. Also the throw is coming from either the catcher or pitcher based on the angle, so she must have hit the ball about 8 feet, which leads me to conclude she is pretty darn fast.

    That is quite an early swing in P2. reminds me of the Looney Tunes cartoon where the pitcher throws a super slow pitch and the batter swings 3 times at it as it crosses the plate.

    Milford vs. Tilden does not imply Milford at Tilden. In fact often in schedules that’s how it will be listed, when it says “vs” it’s a home game and “at” it’s an away game.

    @JPuzzleWhiz

    The ball and Amy’s foot are about the same distance from the base. Even a weak throw would travel at 30 mph, faster than any human being can run. Therefore, the ball should beat Amy and she should be out. Sorry for sounding so pedantic.
