Whoa, the “time to make the donuts” guy is really burning the candle at both ends now that he’s moonlighting as a high school football ref.

    “Lots of weapons there, Gil.”
“Well, ever since the state passed that conceal and carry law, I feel safer packing heat.”

Coach Jim Rome of Tilden High is unusually humble in defeat. “Gil, that QB is a grinder and he keeps it tight,” remarked Van Smack.

As the Milford cheerleaders hoist the severed heads of the Tilden drum majors, still wearing their shakos.

Oh why couldn’t they have put a peacock in the background somewhere just to tease us?

Very good, but I was thinking it was the dude from the Angie’s List commercial:

    “I love you Angie.”

Sixteen runs and what do you get? If you’re Adrian Peterson, about 100 yards and definitely not deeper in debt.

Cynic that I am, let me make sure I have this straight….Gil, already up 20-0, decides to expose his brittle QB Hayes on the play call suggestion offered by the obviously emotionally disturbed mute man-child Pascoe, who has just joined the team mid-season under dubious circumstances.

    works for me!

Well you left out the part about the play call suggestion being presented via an interpretive dance routine but otherwise that sounds about right.

Why the hell is the Tilden defender in P2 getting ready to throw a block instead of tackling the receiver? Either that or he’s just snatched a purse and is attempting to flee via the player’s entrance.

“I hope we’re this good — and didn’t just skunk you because you are a miserable coach and your players have the talents of munchkins.” Way to put down the other coach, Gil.

Not for nothing, but the man who played him in those Dunkin’ Donuts ads passed away several years ago.

I thought that was Luigi of Mario Bros fame

I think it’s Mario himself, Luigi isn’t that fat. Unless he’s been gorging at the lasagna… ;-)
