That’s a pretty rough rendition of Gil’s face in P3. Was Billy from “The Family Circus” filling in for the day?

If Scott’s having control problems, he should rub the ball with a little possum grease.

Here comes a home run… Good coaches should have better results with a less-than-ideal team. Gil, on the other hand, hasn’t won a title in decades. That isn’t possible!!

I hope Scott doesn’t telegraph his pitch as much as they’ve telegraphed this upcoming double play attempt.

Nice one chip, ala Jethro Bodine?

Dare I say it, but shouldn’t Gil also remind him to breath through his eyelids.

Is there room for the umpire behind the catcher, or does he stand behind the fence?

Depends upon one’s perspective. That’s not a full-face shot of the catcher, so we can assume that there’s plenty of room for the ump.

Oh, I don’t know, I didn’t think the drawing was bad at all. But that’s me.

Gil’s wearing a JACKET for a June afternoon game, thin blood. As Wildcat is watching the action beyond right field high atop Maris Industries, Pedro has finished cleaning Mimi’s pool and fixed a Mimosa.

Try telling that to the Chicago Cubs.

Here comes the blown double play. Afterward, Jimmy kicks Knox’s aSS over him giving him grief about the blown play. Excitement in MILFtown!

Between you and dutchpuppy2, I think yours is the most likely of the two outcomes, assuming that the Mudlarks do, indeed, lose.

Why should that be unusual? Summer (or, in this case, late spring) does come with a few cooling off periods. We here in NH are going through one right now.

The confusion is so bad that while the catcher reaches far to his left, the player from panel one has to dive into panel two to catch the wild pitch.

By some wild random guess I’m thinking this is leading up to a double play to end it. Either a completed one for the win or a wild throw to lose the game. Which will it be? I’ll have to stick with my prediction of botching the DP that I said yesterday, this will leave them short of the record. And more drama for the lawsuit tension. Well tension for the characters, not for us.

I believe Robin Ventura said the same thing to Chris Sale yesterday……
