    I hate to sound like the high school English teacher here (and I know many others have voiced this same sentiment), but what exactly is Doyle’s motivation in this whole story arc? And, where he is now that the going gets tough?

    Doyle’s motivation was to eliminate some of the competition from the dating scene. He set up Gallagher to take a fall. Now Doyle thinks the coast is clear for him to move on what’s-her-face.

    Doyle probably has 1000 t-shirts made up with “terry-He;s Magically Delicious” printed on them and at $20 a pop stood to make a lot of dough. Now they’re worthless and he’ll have to eat them
