    They have replaced the Thor p’s with a newer model. That looks like a young and updated Gil and Mimi in panel two talking as Gil and Mimi used to do (and progressing in panel 3 as Gil and Mimi used to do as well). It must be late fall in Milford as it is beginning to snow.

    I am hoping in a bit of a twist to the story arc that we find out Wildcat Maris is behind all of this to get back at Gil Thorp by showing the good folks of Milford that the coach has lost control of the program and doesn’t even show up to games anymore.
