    Would this include books on the Nine-Banded Armadillo, or the Grey Banded Kingsnake?

    Looks like the bump on your head is finally gone down, poor little bald Bucky…

    @Jo Clear (aka: Grasshopper)

    The bump on the head is in the Monday-Saturday timeline. The Sunday timeline is separate (in this one Bucky was attacked by the ferrets after trying to trojan-horse their party, and was partially shaved).

    I suppose any book by Dr. Ruth, or something like The Big Book of Family Planning, has been banned for decades in China, too.

    You beat me in explaining the disparity in the two timelines, typical of almost all daily comics. Considering the difference in Bucky’s physical insults, I’m sure that he would take a bump on the head over a reverse Mohawk every day of the week (and twice on Sunday!).

    China has been a leading proponent of family planning, though. On the other hand, they have serious prohibitions or taboos against nudity.
    Maybe that’s not the other hand.

    @Doh

    I read a paperback copy of “Catcher”. Didn’t think it was all that remarkable.
    -
    “The Fords: An American Epic” was a lot more compelling. Tells of their emigration from Ireland all the way through Henry Ford II’s running the Ford Motor company. Edsel got a bad deal from his old man [Henry] and to add insult to injury, the company comes out with that abomination with his name on it. I have heard that “The Arsenal Of Democracy” Gives Edsel’s real contribution to the U.S. war effort in the 1940s.
    “Catcher In The Rye” !  Meh.

    The real explanation is that Conley only produces new strips on Sunday, while the rest of the week is reprints. The reason why this is so has never been explained.
