and for fearless explorers – cathartic. and for well-groomed cats – catacomb. and for troublesome cats – catastrophe. and for seafaring cats – catamaran, or in Bucky’s case – catkin.

Bad fumble, Bucky. Clearly it was “Mensa” who ripped off “Catsa”. Who’s been around longer?

Trivia: In Spanish (more specifically, in Mexican Spanish) mensa means a woman who is silly or stupid.

(Menso means “stupid” or “silly”, but it’s a male noun. Mensa is the female counterpart).

Dogs are highly trainable, cats are very hard to train, some people feel tainable equates intelligence. Dogs can be trained to pull sleds hundreds of miles across the snow covered tundra, cats not so much, how does that make dogs smarter? Dogs want to please, cats usually don’t give a hoot, this does not indicate intelligence only attitude.

My cat is going on 14 and she is everybit as playful now as she was when she was a kitten, she just tears around the house when she wants to play.
