    Way to go Satchel. You tell that bully what he really is.

    Somebody needs to sit on that cat for a while and teach him it’s not good manners to be a bully. How does he like when he is the victim? Good thing he stays in the apartment. If he was on the loose he could be a city wide disaster in progress.

    Cats and dogs living together … it’s just not natural.

    Many years ago there was a HILARIOUS “Get Fuzzy” in which the 2 animals are doing an Abbott and Costello routine and Rob is trying to do paperwork and yells “Stop it! Stop it!” I still laugh when I think of it. Can anyone get a reproduction of that one?

    Time to pay some dogs to rough up a little fuzzy jerk and make cartoon live up to its name.

    I wouldn’t have believed it but my 4 cats get along better now with a dog in the house than they did before.
    Contrary to popular belief, cats do miss us when we’re gone, at least mine do
    If I’m gone for more than a day they follow me around

    @JudasPeckerwood

    I had a dog and cat who would pick “fights” with each others. Visitors would look at us weird when the dog would chase the cat barking and snarling one way, but then they’d laugh when the cat would chase the dog the other way through the house. The cat was usually the instigator, she loved to play with that dog. He really enjoyed playing with her too. There’s not much worse than a Siamese (yes she was) soaked with dog drool – YUK!

    My daughter’s cat knows when she’s gone and does the same thing. While my daughter is gone she will sit on the stairs where she can see the back door and around the house so when HER girl comes home she’ll know. The little cat will walk around the house meowing and crying trying to find her girl and then return to the stairs. It’s kinda sad really. But then when my daughter gets home she will ignore my daughter for a couple hours and then is her shadow.

    Glad to see all the comments – must have a new paper. Still sad that the Chicago Tribune dropped you. My dog and two cats played tag when the humans left. On the occasions I stayed home to work I’d hear them through the office door. They’d do the nonchalant act if I surprised them when I opened the door.

    Now I really want to see an arc where he does just that! Good doggie, Satchel!
