It isn’t GoComics, the cartoon is the same on Yahoo. It’s whoever supplies the cartoon to them both.The Geech people.

I’m just guessing, but given that the strip is a reprint and Jerry Bittle has passed away, my assumption is that the only archive for some of the strips is from someone who clipped them from the newspaper, and saved only the dialogue to save space. Likely the Bittle estate itself.
