What’s the point of hiding his face? I think I will skip this story line.

Since he finally arrived, what was the point of the missed flight storyline?

A Booking Agent who Doesn’t Speak English???

I think he does know some English, judging from the “Pops” in Panel 1.

Remember “Smilin’ Jack”? We will never know what this guy looks like.

I was gonna say way earlier that this guy is going to be the “Downwind Jackson” of Gasoline Alley.

Gretchen should tell Slim to say ’ Tanto pia cere’ which is
nice to meet you in Italian or he can say ‘Ciao Guido’ right
back. Gretchen needs a more continental agent who
speaks in addition to Italian, English, French, and German.

Now I want to see Guido and the dog in the same room together. Otherwise I will stick to the man-is-dog-is-man story.

Usually I am “ok” with the pacing of GA, even though I tend to be most happy when Joel is a featured character. However, somewhere along the way, when our group reached the airport (and began the Guido sub-arc) I completely lost interest. I am not sure why exactly, but I have. I will diligently keep reading hoping for a big payoff eventually when this story arc reaches culmination.

Wouldn’t it be funny if Guido turns out to be a grown up Dondi?
