This is good. It’s a lot like the original back in the 1920s. I’m not that old. I bought the reprint books.

My cats prefer Bluegrass music, and when they can’t get that they like Country. When we take a trip, we leave a radio set on a country station on for them. They are much more relaxed when we come home. They really enjoy Song of the Mountains on PBS. So do we.

Bluegrass refers to several species of grasses of the genus Poa (with the most famous being the Kentucky bluegrass)

    <
The term has also been applied to various things that relate to the region in which the grass grows:

Bluegrass region, a region of the United States centered in Kentucky
Bluegrass music, a form of American roots music
The Blue Grass Boys, the band led by Bill Monroe that defined the Bluegrass genre
Bluegrass & Backroads, a television show about people and places in the Bluegrass region

(BIG GRIN) Hah! Professor/Doctor Herb is a great addition here. I am enjoying this story arc MUCH more than when it was simply Slim and Clovia (they were “ok” but this is great).

How does a song from a comic strip relax them?

    Hmm? Oh…it’s that PBSLMAO!

Bad pun – actually it is carbon dioxide from speaking to the plant, which they absob, that helps. Unlike animals like Chickens that lay more eggs when listening to classical music, music does not help plants
