It's Garfield-as you've never seen him!
Come savor the existential adventures of Jon Arbuckle in Garfield Minus Garfield. Based on the phenomenon ignited by Dan Walsh's hilarious and wildly popular webcomic (beloved by The New York Times and The
Washington Post, and hailed as "inspired" by Garfield creator Jim Davis), Garfield Minus Garfield takes everyone's favorite fat cat out of the picture, leaving us with only the lonely ennui of Jon as he's left to voice thoughts about his own existence into an empty void.

Something must have got him. Why else would he disappear and leave the door open?

Mmmmm, paranoia and raving for breakfast; have another beer, Jon. Wait, I’ll join you.

OK, so they’ll kill him.
No great loss, IMHO.

Why doesn’t Garfield ever have an expression?

Actually, he does…when he’s thoroughly tormented Odie, or proved once again what a brainless doofus Jon is – he smiles from ear to ear, in a very self-satisfied “I told you so” kinda way.
The typical expression Garfield wears (with his eyelids about 3/4 closed) is one of minimal interest in what’s going on – an air of almost total indifference…tbe classic “I can’t be bothered…” expression.
I have a framed Garfield strip that shows him enjoying a quiet nap with no change in his position or expression from frame to frame…he is just loving that he can go from daybreak to sundown without any worries, demands, drama or accomplishments, ..just a do-nothing day that totally suits our favorite feline…
He’s not without expression, but he does seem to limit himself to only a few – the most common being his “I’m so bored” look…
