Bagpipes have one volume setting – cranked to eleven.

Aye … the Pipes are an acquired taste … pity that some can’t appreciate them. I would gladly listen to 24 hours of bagpipe music than 1 hip-hop/rap song … word!

There is a gentleman at our church who is a piper. Once a year he plays “Amazing Grace”. It’s beautiful on the bagpipes, and cool because he does it in full Scottish attire.

Try the smallpipes – work the same, only quieter; made to play indoors.

Don’t be discouraged, Jon – I didn’t learn to play until my late 40s. (Got ’em from my wife who, fortunately for me, loves the pipes!)

If the truth be told, there’s no such thing as a rap “song”!

A self parody “musical” instrument played by adult men
wearing girls catholic school skirts. Totally bizarre.

You do realize that’s an ethnic slur, right?

    Aye, I’m wi’ ye there!
My son and I love bagpipe and Celtic music (we’re Irish/Scots). My wife? Well, let’s just say she loves us.
