When it’s winter, you can cover the snow shovel with the snow.

I have a better idea: Cover Garfield with the leaves. Lol

I don’t know how it is in other countries, but here in Holland it seems everyone uses a blower. Every night when he arrives home from work my neighbour blows the leaves off of his lawn. Terrible, terrible noise. I will send him Garfield’s solution.

Wrong sort of rake for Sideshow Bob to step on.

That seems like a lot more work to me than just raking them.

Stupid hired “gardeners” blow the leaves and topsoil off entire yards. I have huge sycamore trees, use an electric blower after a big wind in winter to get them out behind bigger plants, but rake the rest. Shred them (big job), add a neighboring ranch’s horse manure, and my high desert sandy soil becomes even more fertile for next year’s garden.

I agree that the noise is horrible. It is bad enough that some cities in the U.S. are banning the gas-powered type. There are a few really good battery operated blowers and trimmers etc. and those have the added advantage of not polluting the air with fossil fuel fumes.

I thought you rake the leaves with the rake!
