    When a cousin of mine returned home after seeing her mother and siblings, she wrote on FaceBook that the weeds had grown three feet tall. She was only away for a few days, not a few weeks.

    Jon likes to mow about as much as Eno likes to mow
    his yard. (See today’s “The Duplex”).

    This is so funny. It looks like this place I rent…the owner waits til you could lose a paperboy…but it is not grass, it’s weeds.

    I’ve often felt like ringing someone’s doorbell and complimenting them on their fine crop of dandelions.
    Some lawns seem to have more dandelion than grass.

    My yard has more grass than dandelions…or lawn, for that matter.

    My yard is mostly clover…but at least it’s green!

    @JackiAnne

    Before all that chemical crap like weed and feed, clover was planted in lawns to help fertilize them. The chemical companies convinced the sheeples that clover was bad so they could sell their poisons. I have a small area of only clover for my dogs, never have to mow and it blooms.

    I think Jon will need a machete before he can even start mowing…

    Not my yard. We have a bounty on dandelions.
