    My brother once pointed, yelled wolf and ran into another room. His marriage didn’t last three years.

    @VTX1800F

    For two dimensional characters with feelings, I recommend “Flatland” by Edwin A. Abbot.
    .
    It was first published in 1884 as a political satire of the times and has remained in print ever since.
    .
    Get an edition with the original illustrations or you’ll miss half the fun.
    .
    It’s carried as a stock item in some Chapters or Indigo stores if you’re in Canada, or they’ll special order it for you.

    “So I pretended to faint.”
    That says it all. I’m not sure what it says, but it says it all.
