   Toys usually includes batteries to run in this case, he hopes that his toys does not include batteries so he will be frustrated that he need to go batteries for the toys to work :D

   Most advertising of toys shows them being demonstrated in use. But, as possiblekim says, many toys need batteries to run. Therefore, to avoid charges of false advertising, the advertising, and the box the toy comes in, usually includes the disclaimer, “Batteries not included” (i.e. you need to add batteries before you can use it). That has become somewhat of a catchphrase and is referenced here.
