What a cat! A cat for all seasons. Sassy. Opinionated. This lasagna loving, mailman chasing, sarcastic cat is a classic that readers love. Garfield, Odie and Jon will leave you wanting a daily dose of this beloved bunch! Garfield’s crafty talent with words and sneaky preference for practical jokes often leave his owner, Jon - and us - speechless, and always wanting more.

If there were a swarm of locusts, there’s bound to be a flock of gulls. But then, if there were a flock of gulls, then we’d have an Alfred Hitchcock moment.

my 2 cats love when a cricket gets into the house. They chase it down, tear its back jumping legs off, and then leave it to ‘break dance’ on the kitchen floor, swatting it back and forth between them until the cricket stops moving.

If it’s just one, it’s not a locust. It’s a grasshopper until it gets into the swarming phase.

Reminds me of the flock of gulls eating locusts for the Mormons.

DH used to bring in a locust for the cat to play with. When it got tired and didn’t buzz anymore she’d meow at it.

That locust appears to be the one that’s plagued, not Garfield

@Llewellenbruce
I don’t see any swatting going on – I don’t see any movement at all. Typical Garfield.
