Pretty much, declawing is not much different to me taking your hands and hacking the first knuckle off each of your fingers, you will lose your sense of touch, and a lot of your fine motor skills we take for granted. It’s why most of the first world has banned declawing as a inhumane practice.

This is exactly what it means to declaw a cat. Unless they are absolutely horrid, and you have literally no other option, you SHOULD NOT declaw a cat. Actually, idek what situation would make it so you should declaw one. Declawing a cat removes their ability to defend themselves, climb and much more.
