    Beautiful cartoon: is that what wearing fishnets will get you from the sea?
    On the Blog: Moxie, still available and weird tasting as ever….
    That’s the way I would picture Nabakov as a boy aesthete. He and Saul Steinberg knew each other. I wonder if Steinberg drew the cartoon butterflies around his head? Besides being a great novelist, Nabokov contributed to the science of butterflies.
    Is Ceila looking for attention or just contemplating her prominences?

    Frogophiles would like the description of the near-sighted Pnin swimming and his head coming up like a frog’s. Only thing I remember from that very funny novel. Easier on the mind than those poor skinned buggers posted yesterday!

    Frog Blog Raymond Pettibon - Raymond Pettibon is the younger brother of guitarist Greg Ginn, who played guitar for this 1980s Hardcore Punk band Black Flag..
    Raymond Pettibon did most of the artwork for album covers for bands that were on SST Records, which he co-owned with Greg Ginn..
