"Frog Applause reminds one of learning to read, in the sense that each word in the captions seems 'surprising' and new. Teresa's writing takes one back to that fresh state of mind (typical of, but of course not limited to, childhood) in which the brain, free of preconceptions, doesn't 'fill in' any blind spots along the way but rather wholly embraces the present moment as it unfolds. Every sentence is literally an imagination-expanding adventure." — Craig Conley, author of One-Letter Words: A Dictionary (HarperCollins)

I am outraged, yes, OUTRAGED at the vile, sexist, anti-boy remarks by this, this, this person with the big hair! I’m a boy (well, I was, a number of decades ago), and I read, eagerly. Even FA and FB! So there!

@Sisyphos
Don’t be outraged – she’s just a girl.

Blog: (knot)….What sort of knot is it and what’s it’s purpose?
BillThompson said, 7 months ago
@pcolli
I think it’s a figure-of-eight knot. You put it at the end of a line to keep the end from slipping through a pulley, grommet or other fitting designed to pass a line.

Uh oh, you gotta’ go boy….? Alright, I’ll unleash you so that you can go and relieve yourself…. However remember what I had showed you, now go and do you business in any of the neighbors yards…. Remarkable, that’s a good boy….!!

Yep, that looks like a figure 8. Boy scouts use a figure 8 follow thru to attach the end of a rope to a scouts harness for climbing and rappelling.

Farmer Johnson had a girl,
A lovely baby daughter.
She named her Oleomargarine,
For he hadn’t any but her.
