    ain’t it a shame
    he forgot to disclaim
    the danger of flame

    it wasn’t his aim
    to injure and maim
    or to leave lame

    if it’s all the same
    rather than blame
    see life’s karmic game

    Warning labels are not foolproof.

Some labels are so not needed unless the manufacturer is targeting people who are mentally impaired. Like don’t put perfume in your iron, just use water. Who in their right mind would ever consider ironing with perfume???

You can’t make anything foolproof because fools are so ingenious.

The only way to make something fool-proof is to keep it away from fools.

Just when you think you’ve made it idiot-proof, they invent a better idiot.

10,000 years and 1000 lawsuits later, “Caution Hot!” was printed on the beverage cup.

Last I looked at Shredded Mini-Wheats, they carried a warning label about containing wheat.

They must be in California (or what would become California)… This is where all these stupid warning labels come from. There is a warning sticker on packages of lead fishing lures/sinkers warning that it contains lead.. Really?!? I never would have guessed that lead fishing sinkers had lead in them. Nor solder (solder contains tin/lead). I’m glad we have these warnings as I would never have known. Duh.

Two things that are very hard to legislate:
    Morality
    Stupidity
