Sorta looks like our campsite -when my wife gets through with it. Double high air mattress, porta-potty, two burner stove and a week’s supply of tea bags but I can’t have enough coffee for two days. She even wants electricity to keep her ‘new’ tablet and cell phone charged.

Here in the Pacific Northwest, that’s what’s known as a Yurt Camp

I call it “overnight picnicking”. Just as a picnic requires a vast weight of gear for one meal, this does for what can be just as comfortable on one’s back. Work with nature, not against.

My guess is this set up wasn’t brought with them in their small car. Why a tent when they could have a cabin? And, what’s with the smoke stack? Wood stove for heat and cooking?
