Frank and Ernest, created by Bob Thaves, chronicles the antics of two "everyman" characters who are anything but ordinary! They appear in different settings, time periods - even manifest as things and creatures other than people. The variety in the strip extends to their observations about a wide number of subjects.

Yep. While it’s easy to prove a lie in court under the rules of evidence, it’s impossible to collect. The reason is: how do you prove it hurt you monetarily? How much is a tarnished name worth?
.
And so we have politicos using the Socialist tactic of the “Big Lie” repeated often. (We usually credit the National Socialists for using it, but every type of Socialism uses it, from Communism to National Socialism, to Europe’s Parliamentary Socialism, to today’s Democrat Party’s International Socialism.) Thankfully, there are still enough media to dispell such goop.

In the case of most people who like to rant about Politics, they would have to pay me to listen to them

Hey, to an economist, money is speech — in the marketplace, people say what they want, and how much they want it, by how much they’re willing to spend for it. You can also relate it to politics: in the marketplace people “vote” with their wallets.
.
More generally, people rationally pursue whatever gives them the most of what they want. And other people, with nothing more than different tastes, sneer at them for being so wrong-headed.
