    Wasn’t it Pius XII who said, “let me show you my little bird”?

    True forgiveness for all sins… The Pope even forgives the raven for killing his dove.

    Actually, the raven is getting rid of some of those pesky pigeons.

    Must live next to the dump. Ravens here pluck baby mockingbirds out of their nests, but can’t catch a smaller, more maneuverable flying bird.

    If that is a raven and not a black bird or crow though they are all intelligent birds. Crows have been shown to work in unison and alone, and even use tools.

    @Night-Gaunt49

    I raised a crow from a baby a while back. Ivancrow. He flew away after I moved from where there were crows, only ravens here. He would take my keys and drop them over the chain link in the neighbors yard.

    The book cover in the first panel says “Poe,” so I follow that the bird is a raven.

    In the third panel, Francis has on a confessional stole not seen earlier. Looks like ravens can get reconciliation, too.

    Great job unpacking the cartoon.
