Hugs can solve all your problems, John, especially when it comes from your little girl… ;)

The hug certainly helps. Now John can possibly see the brighter side to things, he actually did not go to jail!

Don’t know about that . We have three girls and I never got even an offer of a hug when things weren’t looking good. Don’t get any ‘encouraging’ information from them—even today with their ‘little girl’ status long gone ! ! !

I showed this one to my husband. His response: “That’s what daughters are for.” :)

    Lynn’s Notes:
This strip was reprinted many, many times for moms and kids wanting to give it to Dad for Father’s Day…but now and then we printed it for dads who just wanted to be reminded how good those baby hugs feel.

I love the hugs and sweetness. For the most part, you reap what you sow in terms of little kid hugs, so we know Lizzie gets lots of hugs and care when she’s sad. I remind myself that when my 5 year old does the same for me— we must be doing something right!
