    My wife wears her nightgown around the house for hours before and after bed. It seems more necessary there than IN the bed.
    But if you need to gripe…

    I spent a month “all expenses paid” in England when my husband was working there. Somehow it ended up costing us over $3000 just in souvenirs.

    I understand about the concept of the nightgown, but I can’t really explain it. Maybe what she sleeps in now is kind of worn, but “comfortable” and she wants something that looks better in case she has to run outside because of an emergency. Like a fire.
