    Makes me wonder if Phil’s glad he has no children of his own.

    I love Elly’s big grin in the last panel. She’s giving it to her “bro.” :P

    Way to advocate violence against children.

    If my daughters demanded like that, NEITHER of them would. Whining and demanding is an automatic “no” in our house…and the girls know better than to ask a second time.

    Re: The Nick show “Victorious” touched n that once. The characters were sitting at a table and one of them said, “How come no one ever sits on THAT side of the table?” Everyone just paused and looked at the empty seats. It was funny.

    Watch it Michael. Your elbow is in your uncle’s mashed potatoes.

    It looks like Phil’s girlfriend is in a bad spot as well. John’s about the spit in her food.

    @K.C. Fahel

    Thre is a reason why some families with young kids seat everyone on one side of the table and arrange the serving dishes on the other side. It’s because young kids can’t easily pass the serving dishes without spilling the contents. So the dishes are set up in a way that allows people to reach form a serving, but they are supposed to ‘excuse themselves’ to someone if they have to reach across. I would have posted this reponse to the earlier poster, but now that I understand his rules, I decided not to.

    People it’s a comic strip. It’s supposed to be funny. That’s why food is coming out of their mouths, elbows are in mashed potato’s etc. If you want manners read Emily Post.

    Emily Post, Emily Post, Emily Post. Doesn’t anyone remember Lord Chesterfield anymore?
