Is it still stealing when you’re a kid and the vendor keeps waiting on adults, even though you are standing there, medallion in one hand and money in the other? Probably, but after 15 minutes of being ignored, I walked away.

And your pillow case is not a good place to hide it. What happens when mom washes the bedding? Remove pillow from pillow case and what falls to the floor??? Questions will follow.

@rasczak…get a grip.No need to be so blunt and insulting about the actions of a 9 year old child. Probably, most small children do things like this at least once in their lives. Am sure Michael will end up doing the right thing and confessing to his mom….and the store manager…about his misdeed.

Either he will return it or mom will find it soon enough. Either way he is feeling guilt which is good. I’d be worried if he didn’t.

If Elly was like my mother, she’d suspect Michael of something naughty right away. I couldn’t keep a secret from my mom. She would have changed my bedding and found that scarf right away. I think God’s convicting Michael and possibly Lawrence too.

Teddy is your conscience, Micheal . . . so listen to him / it! Then you’ll know the right thing to do.

Any sort of stuffed animal that can open and close its eyes at will is probably a little more than a conscience.

@lightenup so funny. and @howtheduck yeah that is jsut plain creepy when toys eyes does that. but in all it is just he’s parents teachings eating at him to do the right thing.Which if he allowed it to soak in, he wouldn’t been in the predicament
