    LOVE school. Work is mostly good but I’m in a good profession. Holidays are rare. And cherished!

    Michael I agree with you. I worked 9 losy years with no vacation or sick leave. This is part time.

    How much fun we could have in life if we didn’t have to work for a living. Mendojoe: Right, Make a mistake and tear up a machine, you get fired. Make a bad decesion and bankrupt a company and get a bonus!

    Exturk, I thought so too until it became impossible to find a job in my field as a senior -would have thought that having Medicare paying part of my insurance would please them. Ian now my investment values keep decreasing and all expenses increasing, but no Cost of Living increase from SSA.

    This year was the king of oxymorons. SS didn’t increase because the “cost of living” levelled off, and then increase the medical deductions. Duh – aren’t medical expenses part of cost of living?

    Yes Michael, I know. I had 3 weeks of vacation, could use anther 3 weeks.
