Unfortunately I’d meet nuts like that when I was working in the endangered/threatened/sensitive fish biz…
    .
For example, I tried to talk a high person at one point from not risking his neck to pick up a piece of paper on the sheer edge of a 50+ foot drop into a river. He survived, but I still don’t know how he managed not to fall.

I wish the presenter would have been more specific. After all, there are hundreds of guys named Lonny. Nail it down, dude!

If you mean that do I disagree with the Buddhist worldview, then yes, but “despise” is your loaded word. I disagree with anyone who would claim a human life is worth no more than any animal life. Of course, per the atheistic worldview humans have no more value than your average rock, so what do you expect? And it is interesting to note that Buddhism is an atheistic religion, and yet the Dali Lama has rejected evolution after studying its many fatal flaws.

Buddhism can’t be atheistic, they can get God and Country in the Boy Scouts. Actually, they believe the gods exist, but don’t have anything to do with us. On the other hand, Unitarians (10% of their total membership heard King’s sermon at the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom) can be members of BSA, but not sponsor a troop. It might promote social responsibility!

The majority of Buddhists do not believe in the existence of God or gods. At the very least if some think gods of some sort exist they are pretty much useless affectations.

At least they’re not trying to spike Lonni’s head to make it hazardous to cut his hair.
