F Minus is a profoundly funny comic strip that was chosen by more than 200,000 college students as the winner of the "mtvU Strips" contest. Providing daily hilarity since May 2005, F Minus is a strip short on life lessons, precious moments, and pearls of wisdom. Instead, it tackles life's serious issues, pins them to the ground and steals their lunch money. Then it feels a little bit guilty and gives some of it back.

This is why I don’t get popcorn at the movies.

Believe me, it’s not just popcorn. A frequent accident, I witnessed, in a factory producing burger-buns was a blockage on the conveyor, causing up to 1400 buns ending up on the floor. Not one bun was ever lost.

Surely nobody believes spilt stuff gets thrown away? Just think of fast food outlets.

I’m glad I can’t remember the last time I bought movie popcorn.

People think that I don’t eat popcorn at movie theaters because it’s overpriced. Here’s the real reason. Thanks for providing photographic proof.

re:pcolli
we always threw away food that was dropped at the restaurants I worked at. In truth, not many things got dropped. First place I worked had a sheet posted for the food waste and it was claimed as a cost of business.
.
While it wasn’t dropped food, food safety made me quit a restaurant job the only night I worked there in the late 1980s . A place in Sunriver had seafood being left out for at least two hours and then served to customers. I wasn’t going to cook in a place that did that.

How convenient – a popcorn machine right there in the auditorium! And the popcorn comes with experience!
