F Minus is a profoundly funny comic strip that was chosen by more than 200,000 college students as the winner of the "mtvU Strips" contest. Providing daily hilarity since May 2005, F Minus is a strip short on life lessons, precious moments, and pearls of wisdom. Instead, it tackles life's serious issues, pins them to the ground and steals their lunch money. Then it feels a little bit guilty and gives some of it back.

But are they food-safe? (Food safe plastics don’t have leachable plasticizers and other fun things that can get in the food…)

Could be worse – if mom was a roofer, she might send his lunch on a shingle.

Where I live, the people who walk their dogs don’t bother to scoop up after them.

@J. Short
Some schools have banned peanut butter because of a small percentage of kids with allergies.
(If you’re allergic to peanuts, don’t eat them.)

At first I thought the ban on peanut butter was over-reacting, but I found out that it is because of 2 reasons… one that the allergy, when present, is rapid onset and possibly deadly, and two, that kids share things around more than most adults realize.

My kids didn’t have allergies, but others did. One mother once insisted on bringing pb treats to a class party; just inhaling the scent sent him into anaphylaxis. I figured, OK, so eating pb at school is just not so important!
