F Minus is a profoundly funny comic strip that was chosen by more than 200,000 college students as the winner of the "mtvU Strips" contest. Providing daily hilarity since May 2005, F Minus is a strip short on life lessons, precious moments, and pearls of wisdom. Instead, it tackles life's serious issues, pins them to the ground and steals their lunch money. Then it feels a little bit guilty and gives some of it back.

That’s not why they are there. Better luck next time when you get out of ICU.

When I was at Oregon Tech, someone had a car alarm in the dorm parking lot that would go off every time the wind blew or someone walked by. Constant “beep, beep, etc.” Then one weekend the thing stuck and ran the battery down. And there was great rejoicing…

And then the car got stolen!

Has anyone, anywhere, (other than an owner within earshot) ever responded to a car alarm by phoning the police?
.
Come to think of it, if you saw someone breaking into a car using a coat-hanger and were told “Dumb me, I locked my keys in.” would you disbelieve him?

It’s like car alarms are on the wrong frequency these days. They don’t even register unless you are like ten feet away from the car and see the lights flash too.

I use mine to find my car in mall parking garages. It does 3 short beeps and you know which direction to head. Isn’t that why they put it on cars?

Toyota no longer included car alarms in their vehicles — unless you pay extra for a high end model and ask for one. That’s what the salesman told me anyway.

Who in their right mind would want to steal a Toyota??????

Toyotas use to be some of the best cars around. I went through three Fords while my roommate had a Toyota with no major problems. I had all kinds of major repairs.

Years ago,on Prairie Home Companion, there was a fake ad for a car alarm seeking missile. I had dreams of owning such a device for years later. Now I wish for appropriate technology for cars with sonic boom level rap music.
